housh-monster

Housh, as my coworker would put it, lived the dream this weekend. Yesterday, my new friend Brandon and I took the Housh-Monster on a two hr walk. Today, the dog and I happened to make it to the very end of K9-Carnival. It was pretty lame. Housh, on the other hand, took advantage of the event and sniffed every butt-hole that passed by.

As requested by Ruth, I posted a picture of Housh.

a couple more.

Hit it big this weekend. Scored some New York Times Magazines from back in the day. Three for a dollar, can't beat that. I also picked up a book filled w/grand photos of canaries. Some of the canaries that graced the pages looked as if they were wearing little toupees. This excited me very much.

I've spent the past few day meticulously cutting up my material and half-haphazardly arranging them into unfinished collages. The two above are finished. I have one more, but it is need of gluing. And I'm in need of wax paper.

Started Starbucks yesterday. The people seem extremely nice. Hopefully they stay that way.

on the start of something good.

I got axed from my previous job. Messed up a transaction and some bullshit like that. Waiting around for my new one to start. Starbucks. Surprise. And possibly a second one at a used book store. Thus, leaving very few hours to work on my art. Since I am unemployed for the day and had a kick of motivation, I made a collage. The tape is still stuck on it b/c I'm too lazy to add adhesive. I like it.
